CMC Inkjet and Thermal Printable Surface media allow you to print directly onto the disc using direct printing inkjet or thermal printers, providing a professional disc print.
Ink Jet Printable media is available in two options:
- White Ink Jet Printable
The White Ink Jet finish is very white and lends itself to a full surface ‘C M Y K’ reproduction. - Silver Matte Ink Jet Printable
The Silver Matte Ink Jet finish adds a wonderful luster and shine to your graphics. This finish is ideal for primary color printing.
These finishes can be printed directly using ink jet printers that use ink jet cartridges from manufacturers such as Hewlett Packard, Lexmark, Primera Signature, Rimage Liberty and Epson. Standard ink jet print diameter is 23-118mm (hub printable, smooth to hub).
The Ink Jet finish is the preferred method for printing on CMC’s DVD+R DL media.
Thermal Printable media is available in two options:
- White Thermal Printable
The White Thermal finish is very white and lends itself to a full surface ‘C M Y’ reproduction with the Rimage full color Everest family of printers. - Silver Matte Thermal Printable
The Silver Matte Thermal finish adds a wonderful luster and shine to your graphics is ideal for primary color printing including the mono and multi-color Prism family of Rimage thermal printers.
These finishes can be printed on directly using the Rimage Prism and Everest family of thermal printers. Standard Thermal Print Diameter is 23-118mm (hub printable, smooth to hub).
